Hoods Unlimited and American Fire Shield schedule and perform services in accordance with NFPA 96 fire safety regulations and other applicable codes to ensure compliance, reduce fire risks, and maintain operational safety. By requesting to cancel this specific service appointment, you acknowledge the following:

1. Regulatory Compliance & Fire Safety Risks

NFPA 96 and local fire codes require routine maintenance of commercial kitchen exhaust and fire suppression systems.
Skipping or postponing this service may result in increased grease buildup, fire hazards, and potential code violations.

2. Future Service Costs & Additional Cleaning Fees

Delaying this appointment may require additional labor and deep cleaning at your next service, leading to increased costs.
If excessive buildup occurs due to a missed cleaning, additional charges may be required to bring your system back into compliance.

3. Appointment Cancellation Policy

If this cancellation request is submitted within 24 hours of the scheduled service time, a $100 trip charge will be applied.
If our crews arrive on-site and are turned away, or access information is incorrect, the trip charge will still apply.

4. Customer Acknowledgment

This cancellation applies only to this scheduled service appointment, and your ongoing service agreement remains active.
Skipping or rescheduling this service may increase the cost of future cleanings due to additional work required.
You are responsible for any applicable trip charge fees if this cancellation is within the 24-hour window.
